SANFELICE: STOP ASSISTENTIALISM IN THE SOUTH
NEAPOLITAN Valentina Sanfelice is the new president of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confapi. The Association’s federal board – which represents the under 40 of Italian small and medium businesses – unanimously elected Ms. Sanfelice. She replaced another woman, Catia Polidori, who had stepped down from the presidency of the Group because she was elected to Congress with the PdL party. Thirty-six years old, married, two children, Ms. Sanfelice is past president of Api Naples Young Entrepreneurs (2003) and member of Confapi’s national council since 2006. This is the first time that the presidency of Confapi’s young entrepreneurs goes to an entrepreneur from the south. “However, in my mandate, the south will not represent my priority – the new president explained – the south must jettison of the welfare mindset that has mired it for decades.” |
